The Concourse Grand Railroad
Spooky Train opens October 5th
The Concourse announces the opening of The Concourse Grand Railroad on October 5th. Over one-half mile of train track has been painstakingly laid by a group of train enthusiasts led by Bill Donati, the creator of the small-scale rail line. These dedicated engineers have partnered with The Concourse to house and run their miniature trains for the fun and benefit of the community.
Be the first to board the brand new Spooky Train and experience a scary miniature train ride that will take you around the pond, through the woods, and past Pasco Safety Town. Check into “Hotel California”, cruise by the swamp shack and creep through the spider tunnel. Beware of live actors and special effects. Giant Halloween hay bales with fun faces have been painted for a memorable family photo opportunity.
Hours are from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM for the Sunset Ride, which may be best for young or easily frightened children. The Fright Ride will run from 7:15 PM to 10:00 PM. The cost is $3.00 per ride. Children under 12 months are free. Food concessions are available.
The Holiday Train will begin operating in November in conjunction with the Celebration of Lights and activities in Safety Town. Keep posted for more information on dates and times. For questions about the Spooky Train contact Bill Donati at 727.639.7639.
